BEYOND THE CLANS
Moonpool
The moonpool is the lakeside equivalent of the moonstone, a small crystal pool were medicine cats and leaders can drink the water and communicate with StarClan through dreams. The pool is surrounded mostly by stones which make good resting places for those wishing to speak to the warrior ancestors.
Territorial Claim: StarClan (neutral)
Territory: Lakeside
Herbs Observed: None
Prey Observed: None
History: The moonpool was discovered by Leafpaw of ThunderClan in The New Prophecy #4: Starlight.
The Lake
The lake is a large body of water that is located in the center of the territories, and it is small enough that the other side can just be seen from one end. Several small streams lead to and from the lake, and two docks built by twolegs extend into it. It is known to the twolegs as Sanctuary Lake, and Littlepine sailing centre is open in Greenleaf for sailing.
At the southern point of the lake the water turns into shallow swamp filled with reeds and a good source of medicine cat herbs. The fish within the lake are difficult to catch because they tend to stay closer to the deep water further in.
Territorial Claim: Neutral (two fox-tails around the edge)
Territory: Lakeside
Herbs Observed: Mallow (shoreline)
Prey Observed: Fish
History: The lake is used by twolegs in the summer, and was first seen by the Clans in The New Prophecy #3: Dawn, sent by the badger Midnight. Many moons before the Clans moved to the lake, it was inhabited by a mysterious tribe of other cats.

THUNDERCLAN TERRITORY
ThunderClan Camp
ThunderClan's new camp is an abandoned quarry, a symmetrical stone hollow with cliffs of rosy-coloured sheer rock. On one side the slope leading down is easy to climb down, with pawholds and a gentler angle, but on the other side of the quarry are tall, dangerous cliffs with a straight drop that would lead any cat to it's death. Over time many bushes and grasses have grown in on the cracks and flats of the stones, making it ideal for the camp.
The dens are sheltered by bracken and brambles from around the area. Most of the dens have been created in small shallow caves along the cliffs, the leaders den is a somewhat deeper cave with a ledge extending out, were the leader can address the Clan. Two other separate caves are for the elders and the apprentices, and the warriors sleep under a large thornbush. A big bramble thicket makes the nursery.
On the other side of the clearing is a larger cave, it's entrance hidden by a curtain of bramble tendrils. The ground is soft and sandy, and theres a small pool at the back of the cave for water. The medicine cat stores herbs in the cracks within the wall.

Prey Observed: Vole
History: ThunderClan camp was discovered by Squirrelflight, when chasing a vole, she fell into it.
Ancient Oak (Sky Oak)

Prey Observed: Squirrel, Vole, Mouse
History: The patrol of Mistyfoot, Tawnypelt, Crowfeather, Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw sheltered here in Starlight. Cinderpaw was injured when she tried to rescue Mousepaw when he climbed too high in The Power of Three #2: Dark River.
SHADOWCLAN TERRRITORY
ShadowClan Camp
The ShadowClan camp is located in a small, sheltered hollow beneath the pine trees of the area, and there is a pool of water close by. The hollow is sheltered by dense brambles and the low-hanging branches of the pine trees around it.
On the edge of the camp clearing there is the nursery first, then the apprentice den, the warriors, the leaders, and the elders, forming a circle on the outer border of the hollow. The dens are situated strategically - elders and apprentices close to the low-hanging branches that provide safety from attacks, and the warriors facing the entrance of the camp. Above the leader's sleeping place is a thick, low branch for making announcements. And beyond the leader's den is the medicine cat den, a place were the thick branches of the pines thin out so the sky is visible.
Territorial Claim: ShadowClan

History: The ShadowClan camp was discovered by Tawnypelt.
Greenleaf Twolegplace
The greenleaf twolegplace is alive with twoleg activity during greenleaf, when they set up tents and build fires. It is known by the twolegs as Hareview campsite, and is only open in the summer months. Sometimes twolegs leave food behind that the ShadowClanners can use, making it the equivalent of Carrionplace.

Twoleg Nest
Home to two aggressive kittypets and their equally aggressive owners, the twoleg nest in ShadowClan is anything but abandoned. This place is generally avoided by ShadowClanners, even if the threat of the two kittypets has been solved, the twolegs remain dangerous.
Territorial Claim: ShadowClan
Territory: Lakeside
Herbs Observed: Catmint
Prey Observed: None
History: This twoleg nest is inhabited by two aggressive but cowardly kittypets which caused great problems for ShadowClan in Twilight. They would attack warriors who were unsuspecting or alone, and then rush back in to the defense of their owners when a real threat appeared. They murdered apprentice _paw before they were dealt with by a ThunderClan and ShadowClan joint patrol.
Twoleg Paths
Small trails identified by "shiny blue markers" have been created by the twolegs. There are two sets of pathes on the northern side of the lake, in parallel to eachother. The western path marks the edge of ShadowClan territory, while the eastern path and the stream that runs parallel to it fall in ThunderClan territory. Both lead to the lake, and in greenleaf they are constantly in use by twolegs in the area.

RIVERCLAN TERRRITORY
RiverClan Camp
In the north-west corner of the map, a triangle of land exists between the divergence of two rivers from the lake. The rivers make the camp's location well defended, and the slope that harbors the camp is covered in thick cover of moss and ferns, and clumps of hazel and brambles. RiverClanners can swim the stream, but other cats would have to wade through the shallows or hop from the pebbly islands. Lush trees shelter the camp.
A patch of thick, sunny brambles makes the nursery, while the leader's and elder's den are located within a patch of thicket. The RiverClan medicine cat den is built open an old, large thornbush that overhangs the stream. The earth below the roots was washed partly away, making a hole suitable for storing herbs, as well as a good water source for the sick. A mossy nest built into the roots makes a comfortable bed for the medicine cat.
Territorial Claim: RiverClan
Territory: Lakeside
Herbs Observed: None
Prey Observed: None
History: Discovered by Mistyfoot. The position of the camp offered some controversy when Hawkfrost instsisted upon the use of the island as a camp.
Greenleaf Twolegplace (boating)
The dock and boating area in RiverClan territory is only used by twolegs in the summer months. Coming off the road to the west that leads to it, an asphalt parking lot sits in front of the dock, offering parking for eager twoleg visitors to the lakeside. Often in greenleaf the shrieks and splashes of twoleg kits can be heard in RiverClan territory.

WINDCLAN TERRRITORY
WindClan Camp
A shallow scoop in the moorland, WindClan's camp most resembles it's old camp. The small valley supports an amount of trees and boulders that shelter the camp. Because of how open it is, in poor weather WindClanners may retreat into the thorn-sheltered underground burrows nearby. While the camp is not well defended or hidden, the sharp eyes of the WindClanners on guard can not miss a trespasser as they come over the hills.
The biggest boulder in the middle of the valley serves as the Tallrock, were leaders make announcements. Beside the Tallrock is a thick clump of gorse which makes the nursery. Nearby a large boulder with a crack in it serves as a medicine cat den - a place to store supplies and a sleeping place for the sick, if required. A tunnel sheltered by a gorse bush leads to an old badger set were the elders sleep, sheltered from the elements.

Horseplace
Although not strictly within WindClan territory, this stable is close enough to be WindClan's land, if it did not consider twoleg land neutral. There are three chain-fence enclosed fields and two houses on the property are were the twolegs live. There is also a barn and stable connected to the fields. For safety from the dangerous hooves of the animals, cats stay outside of the field.
